Philadelphia Old City Tour Details

At the designated time, we'll meet at 21 South 5th Street, specifically at Stop 1, to kick off this walking tour of Philadelphia. Are you ready to step back into 1776 and experience Philadelphia at the heart of the American Revolution?

First, we'll walk through the old town, where history comes alive at iconic sites such as Independence National Historical Park, which is home to the Liberty BellIndependence Hall, and the President's House. Did you know the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution were signed here? Along the way, the guide will tell us the stories of the people who shaped the country's Early Republic.

Our tour will continue with a visit to Benjamin Franklin's grave to learn about this famous Philadelphian.

Then, we'll head to the Arch Street Meeting House to explore the role of the Quakers, and see The Betsy Ross House, where you'll learn about the role women played in the Revolution. You'll also stroll down Elfreth's Alley, America's oldest residential street, to take a glimpse at the lives of the locals. We'll end at Christ Church, once the place of worship for many of the city's most prominent figures.

We'll then head to the nearby 21 South 5th Street, where we'll conclude our Philadelphia Founding Fathers walking tour after 1.5 hours.
